Zocon-T Kit is a prescription medicine. It is advised to take it as per the prescription. It can be taken with or without food, but it must be taken at a fixed time to ensure better efficacy. Do not consume more than the recommended dose, as this may have harmful effects on your body. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. The course of the treatment must be completed even if you feel better. Sudden discontinuation of the treatment may affect the potency of the medicine.

How to use Zocon-T Tablet

How Zocon-T Tablet works

Fluconazole is an antifungal medicine which stops the growth of fungi by preventing them from forming their own protective covering. Tinidazole is an antibiotic which kills bacteria and other infectious microorganisms by damaging the DNA. Together, they treat your infection effectively.

Alcohol

UNSAFE
Consuming alcohol while taking Zocon-T Kit may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heart beat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure (Disulfiram reaction).

Pregnancy

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR
Zocon-T Kit is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding

CAUTION
Zocon-T Kit should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.
If a single dose of Zocon-T Kit is used, it is recommended to hold breastfeeding for 12-24 hours to allow the removal of the drug.

Driving

UNSAFE
Zocon-T Kit may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.
Zocon-T Kit may make you feel drowsy or gives you problems with coordination or sensation (e.g. numbness or weakness). This may affect your driving ability.

Kidney

UNSAFE
Zocon-T Kit is probably unsafe to use in patients with kidney disease and should be avoided. Please consult your doctor.
Caution to be advised in patients with impaired renal function.

Liver

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Zocon-T Kit is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Zocon-T Kit may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
